1. When reading and outlining is assigned, do it! Furthermore think about it in your own terms and if you can't do that ask questions.
2. Leads to the next suggestion, ask questions in class. You will be afraid, but not knowing the answer or why is worse.
3. Do you homework completely and don't leave it for the last minute. Your work will be collected in packets.
4. Be involved in the labs and understand why each step is being done and what is being done.
5. Know you will be challenged but accept that and work for success.
6. Textbook: ACS "Chemistry in the Community"
7. Study group meets Wednesdays in my room, 63, from 6-7:30pm. You are welcome for all or part of the time. You can also get help during lunch on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
